SO. I've started playing Summon Night: Twin Age today. So, over the next few days i'll be reviewing this game, and hopefully my impression on it will change =3

So far the game is very interesting, and it has a great plot as far as redubs go. I lol'd like 20 seconds into the game at 'he's my younger brother except we're not family, i summoned him 7 years ago' good job :) 

What I don't like about it so far, is that my game freezes when I die, and i gotta start over at the beginning of the chapter, immediately followed by the chapters contain more dialog and cutsceney things than anything else. The next beef I have is that it's impossible to play without a stylus, and as you probably know by now, this is a problem for me. I like to be able to mash buttons a lot.

Having said all of that - it's supposed to be one of the best RPG's for the DS, and I'm liking it so far for the most part, and I'm hoping it keeps on being awesome!

Starting things out

How about I review the new Pokemon White Version?

 First off let me give you a bit of background in my pocket monster history. I started out with a copy of blue version, which I played on my see through Gameboy Pocket =3 Then, I stepped it up to yellow version, on my Teal-ish colored Gameboy color. Next came Gold and Silver, and somewhere along the line i stepped it up to a white Gameboy Advanced - and to this day I don't know what happened to it, or where it went. After that came a Micro, which is my favorite Gameboy ever. I skipped over almost all of the middle-generation Pokemon games, but when I purchased my DSI, I decided to get back into it with White Version. 



I'm glad I did! The story is your traditional Pokemon story. Get badges, kidnap pokemons, kill team rocket. Thankfully however, it's in a new region, that i've NEVER been in before, and new badges, and interesting features that make this game timelessly awesome. 



The badges are the simple part of the storyline (with the exception of elsa, she's a hooker),
 kidnapping the pokemon is my ONLY complaint about the game. The new pokemon introduced in this generation are a bit, how to put it? Fluffy. cutesy, the exact opposite of charizard, for the most part. There are a few cool looking ones, and thankfully you have the ability to snag you some good old 150 pokemon after you access the second side of the map. 



Team Rocket is now Team Plasma. They're the kings of double-standard hypocritical idiots. They want to 'liberate' pokemon from their trainers, and they do this by building their own teams of pokemon, and battling other people, participating in what their core beliefs are against. When I was playing through the game, I thought it worked out best to think of them as Eco-Terrorists for whatever reasons, it gave me the motivation to murder all of them. And i guess it's a con, but their all rather lame and tedious and repetitive, They all send out a watchog, and a sandile, and maybe a krokorok, and that's practically it. 



But on the whole, Pokemon White, (And Black, by extension) is exactly what a Nintendo DS game should be. No super-flashy graphics, just timeless sprite-art, and a superbly well done interface and use of the touch screen. I'm not a fan of the games that rely on the touch screen, because it takes the portability out of the game completely, and I can't play them while driving e_e lulz. 



Strongly recommend White and Black versions though! Gobuynow!
I'll give it a TEN, out of 10.

P.S. I'm working on like 10 different games at the current time, but in the future be looking for reviews of Soul-Silver, Platinum, Summon Night, Mech Assault, and other stuffs =3
